Cancellation, Booking and Refund Policies

  1. To register for a course with Wilderness Medical Consultants all fees must be paid at time of booking and students must sign our waiver of liability prior to the course.
  2. Wilderness Medical Consultants reserves the right to cancel or change dates at any time due to insufficient enrolment without penalty.
  3. If Wilderness Medical Consultants cancels a course, the student’s full payment will be refunded.
  4. If a student cancels from a course the following Cancellation Policies Apply:
    1. If canceling 90 days or 3 months prior to the course start date a full refund will be given OR the student may transfer to a different course date without penalty (one time only for course transfer).
    2. If canceling 60-90 days or 2-3 months prior to the course start date a full refund will be given less a $50 administration fee OR the student may transfer to a different course date without penalty (one time only).
    3. If canceling 30-60 days or 1-2 months prior to the course start date a 50% refund of course fee will be given OR the student may transfer to a different course date for $50 (one time only).
    4. If canceling less than 30 days there are no refunds.
    5. NOTE: If a student decides to transfer to a course that has a higher fee the student must pay the difference. If a student transfers to a course of lesser value the difference will be refunded.
  5. NOTE: If a student pays by credit card or paypal and requests a refund, refunds will be issued as per the policy above less a $45 transaction fee.
  6. Cancellations must be received in writing (letter, fax or email).
